New Outdoor Advertising Business Launches In Inverclyde

L-R: Andrew Bowman, Lesley Ann Webb and Marco Rebecchi

An exciting new outdoor advertising agency has launched in Gourock, providing a unique application, installation, management and sales service for clients and advertisers.

A&M Advertising is aiming to fill a unique local position in the Out of Home (OOH) advertising landscape, specialising in traditional advertising hoarding and new digital screen locations.

Based in Gourock, the business supports clients all over the UK alongside its partners, with services including sales, planning applications, screen installations and screen sales for clients.

Founded by Inverclyde business partners Andrew Bowman and Marco Rebecchi, the new company has appointed Lesley Ann Webb as its Sales Manager.

Lesley Ann takes up the new role alongside her current role as Commercial Manager with Greenock Morton Football Club.

With a diverse range of services, A&M Advertising provides cost-effective solutions to ensure maximum return on investment for businesses.

Its unique ability to handle all elements from start to finish is seen as a major differentiator for the local OOH market.

A&M Advertising currently provides sales and marketing support for three digital screens in Port Glasgow, Bishopton and Gourock in the west of Scotland, as well as four traditional 16 and 48 print advertising hoarding sites in Greenock and on the M74.

The business’s latest customer is the West Coast Cinemas in Greenock and Dunoon, with the business supporting the sales of advertising before each screening to cinemagoers.

The development of the business has been supported through new cloud-based content management systems, enabling A&M to update its screens from anywhere and manage its digital advertising sites and sales.

A&M Director, Andrew Bowman said:

“It is exciting to officially launch the new business. We see a significant gap in local markets across the UK to provide end-to-end cost-effective solutions for both clients and advertisers.

“Both digital and more traditional hoardings are a great way to help businesses to build their brand recognition, with our flexible terms and affordability providing options for all budgets.

“We have successfully grown the business from Inverclyde, and we look forward to further continuing that development across the United Kingdom.”

Director, Marco Rebecchi said:

“Out-of-home advertising has been one of the hardest-hit digital advertising sectors, with Covid lockdowns decimating footfall and on public transport.

“However, we’ve come through and A&M Advertising is aiming to capitalise on the gradual return to offices and outdoor activities where there is a clear market for local OOH advertising.

“Our unique end-to-end service for clients looking to install digital advertising screens is paying real dividends for the company at this early stage, and we aim to strengthen this in the future.”

Sales Manager Lesley Ann Webb said:

“I am delighted to be working alongside Marco and Andrew to support this exciting new business, with outstanding and diverse opportunities for local businesses to advertise and further promote their brand.”
